About Sunbird RV

Sunbird RV was originally founded in 1983 by Ron and Annie Tucker, who proudly served our desert community until their well-deserved retirement in 2020. During their tenure, they brought on Clint Moore, a true master technician who possessed the rare talent to repair anything that rolled through the bay doors. After losing my longtime position at Pep Boys due to Covid, I discovered Sunbird RV was available for sale. Having spent most of my life around recreational vehicles and working in automotive repair, it was an immediate calling. I joined the team part-time before taking ownership, and Clint took me under his wing to pass along decades of invaluable trade knowledge before his passing in 2022. Carrying forward that legacy, my passion for problem-solving, electrical diagnostic work, and custom fabrication drives everything we do to keep campers exploring.

Unlike massive corporate dealerships where RVs sit for weeks and technicians rush through billable hours, we intentionally stay small enough to care. We take the extra time required to diagnose issues correctly the first time. Along with our fully stocked retail storefront carrying essential plumbing, sanitation, electrical supplies, and hardware, our goal is clear every time you pull into our Indio facility: we want you to leave knowing we have not only done everything possible to repair your rig, but everything possible to save your vacation.
